If you only make it out to Cape Cod every once in a while to go fishing in Massachusetts, schedule some time to visit some of the historic towns the area has to offer. Each has something unique for visitors, and a side trip to any of these Cape towns will make a memorable tuna fishing experience even better.

Brant Rock - For great seafood after your deep sea fishing excursion, go to Brant Rock, Massachusetts, also located near the Cape. After you consume some local cuisine, take a walk on the beautiful beaches and duck into the local shops to grab a souvenir of the memorable day.

Cape Cod - Perfection. Beaches, lighthouses, fishing, sailing, seafood. You can't go wrong with a visit to Cape Cod!

Duxbury - One of the larger producers of cranberries in Massachusetts, Duxbury is also home to another New England favorite - oysters. When you're done fishing off the Cape, head over to Duxbury for some fresh food, shopping and historical site seeing.

Kingston - Nature lovers who come to shore after Cape Cod deep sea fishing with Big Fish II Sportfishing Charters might want to take a short trip over to Kingston. This coastal community in Massachusetts is known for conserving open spaces for public and recreational use. Kingston is also home to old shipyards, and since you love to fish a look at how ships were built in the past is right up your alley.

Plymouth - Most know Plymouth from its rightful place in history, from the Mayflower landing at Plymouth Rock and more. But today, aside from being a fantastic town for historical site seeing, this town in Massachusetts boasts some of the areas best golf, shopping, beaches and more. When you've reeled in your last line from tuna fishing, head over to Plymouth and see what it has to offer.

Scituate - Some call it 'A nice place to visit. The nicest place to live.' This coastal community was a large fishing community in Massachusetts in years past. Today Scituate is home to a mix of businesses and historical sites, including the 'Old Oaken Bucket.'
